TSPI taps MISFI for its Disaster Risk Reduction & Management Training

(Valencia City) Tulay Sa Pag-unlad, Inc. (TSPI) tapped the services of Mindanao Interfaith Services Foundation, Inc. (MISFI) in its Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) Training held last August 9-10, 2012 at Valencia City, Bukidnon.

36 participants coming from five communities in Valencia City participated in the said training that tackled various modules such as basic DRRM concepts, preparedness, mitigation, emergency response and rehabilitation.

Ms. Baylon validated the plan presented by the participants.

Ms. Maria L. Baylon, Department Head of TSPI Community Development, opened the training by stressing to participants the importance of strong family and spiritual values and the need to focus on strengthening their livelihood as foundation to reduce the effects of impending disasters.

Another game played by the participants is the bottle maze.
