Moving Up Ceremonies & Medical Mission for the MISFI Community Learning Center in Muling

Muling, Gupitan, Kapalong, Davao del Norte with MISFI


 Imagine going on a cross-country motorcycle ride for 6 hours.  You kick off by loading the bike on a bamboo raft across a river then drive along mountain trails through forests, knee-deep mud, slippery stones, overhanging branches, cliffs, rain and sun.   Oh, and put side carriages on the motorbikes a.k.a. skylab. You may or may not ride on the carriages. By the time you reach Muling, expect all muscles and joints to be stiff and aching and thanking the heavens for giving you the best driver in the world because somehow he has kept the motorcycle upright for those 6 hours.

MISFI facilitates SENZA FRONTIERE visitors to Mindanao

(Davao City) MISFI facilitated the visit of Anselmo Castelli, founder and president of the Italian Humanitarian group Senza Frontiere (Without Borders) and Don Giuseppe Bergamaschi, parish priest of Castel Goffredo, Montova, Italy in the areas of Sitio Dulyan, Barangay Palma Gil, Talaingod, Davao del Norte and Arakan, North Cotabato last August 11-12, 2011.

The Mindanao Interfaith Services Foundation Inc. (MISFI) launched a 5-day Caravan for Peace and Development last May 2-6, 2009 at the very far-flung sitio of Muling, Barangay Gupitan of Kapalong, Davao del Norte.
